We're proud to launch the House of Travel Hospice Nurses Scholarship Fund in partnership with House of Travel.
Every day, more than 660 hospice nurses across New Zealand provide compassionate, specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses and the families who support them. Their work is invaluable, requiring additional postgraduate study beyond undergraduate nursing qualifications.
The new fund will support six hospice nurses each year to undertake postgraduate study in palliative care, helping them build the specialist skills needed to provide compassionate care to patients and whānau across New Zealand.
We are grateful to House of Travel for investing in the ongoing professionalism of our dedicated, skilled and compassionate nurses. This generous fund will help strengthen hospice care for communities across the country.
