What's it like living in Aotearoa while dying?
Dying Reviews is a world first campaign to better understand the experience of living in Aotearoa while dying. We know dying is hard for people to talk about and perhaps for society to hear.
What things are harder than they need to be? What matters when time and energy are precious? What services could be designed for to make living while dying easier? This is something Aotearoa has never asked before.
Dying Reviews is a rate and review platform for people to give feedback on their everyday experiences so that, as a society, we can improve.
Who can write a Review?
Anyone diagnosed with a terminal or life limiting illness, or a family member or close friend can write a review.
We want to hear from the voice of those dying and their whānau. This is an opportunity to express what it’s like if you are in this position. When everything has changed. When your energy and priorities are changing and daily life has probably become harder then it needs to be.
We hope to hear from a diverse range of New Zealanders.
With your feedback, we can help every part of our society have a better understanding of this phase of life. Tell us what its like dealing with your bank, insurance company, Kiwisaver, pharmacy, airline and even your gym.
Your reviews help to design a New Zealand where when we are dying,
we can be supported to focus on what matters: the life we have left. Read more about the campaign here
