Help people who need Hospice this Christmas

This Christmas, hospice staff all over the country will be working hard to support families in need, but we need your help to make sure we can continue to provide care to even more families in our community.

It costs $200 million annually to provide free hospice care across New Zealand. With just $97 million from government funding, hospices rely on generous donations to raise over $103 million each year to bridge the gap.

Your support this holiday season makes a real difference. Every donation helps us provide free, compassionate care to families in need, ensuring no one faces their final days alone.

Join us this Christmas in giving the gift of care to those who need it most.

“Sometimes the anxiety is, are we doing the right thing? Are we giving the right care. So, when we have someone like hospice and help with that, it lessens our anxiety but also allows us to be there for her more”

“It's this ripple effect. Dad’s at the Centre. Mum is looking after him, my sister and I are looking after mum, our husband’s look after us. And we have hospice in parallel walking alongside us and giving us that support. We’ve had so much love and support from hospice. “

Jo Seagar, long time champion and patron of Hospice, says,

“Hospice looks after the whole person. The physical, emotional, social and spiritual of a person. Hospices all over the country are helping people live every moment. Thank you so much in joining me in supporting Hospice at Farmers this Christmas”
