Start time: 9.30am - 10.00 am arrival, network over tea/coffee, 10am start.
Finish time:   4.15pm
Venue:  Te Omanga Hospice (TOH), 136 Woburn Rd, Lower Hutt
Transport from airport:  Driving time from Wellington Airport is 30-40 minutes aprox.  after 9am.  We may be able to coordinate transport, TBC.
Hosted by TOH:    No cost for attendance, kai catered by HNZ.

 

Who should attend

Hospice Family Support/Allied health managers and leaders who coordinate and manage Family Support/Allied Health teams, and who are involved in Family Support/Allied Health service development.

  • Future proofing and managing change for our teams, e.g.: retaining & recruiting staff, working within budget constraints, service development, aging work force, increased complexity of referrals and volume of referrals. 
  • Developing PC competency in our teams.  Professional development.
  • Building psychological safety and resilience in our team.
  • Leadership resilience, taking care of ourselves as leaders of Hospice FS/AH teams. 
  • Update from HNZ.
  • Tour of Te Omanga Hospice.
  • Time for informal networking will also be part of the day.
