One in three people who die in New Zealand are supported by Hospice. Hospice provides holistic wrap around care and support for people with a life limiting illness, and their whānau/family.
Choosing to leave a gift in your Will to Hospice is a generous and deeply meaningful way to ensure expert, compassionate care is here for people and whānau across Aotearoa—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
If you already have a Will, you can add a Gift with a simple amendment called a codicil. A codicil sits alongside your Will and confirms a change (for example, adding a percentage gift to Hospice New Zealand or your local hospice). You can update your Will or codicil at any time—your decision is yours.
Everything provided through our 32 hospices around the country is free of charge. Hospices across New Zealand rely on people leaving Gifts in their Wills to keep their doors open. With rising healthcare costs and the growing demand for services, your gift is more important than ever.
