Clinicians voice

Many people are involved in caring for people at the end of their lives and death and dying happens across a range of settings.

We know that 1/3rd of people who die each year are cared for by a hospice service, which means there is a large number of people being cared for by clinicians from a range of backgrounds in a variety of places – hospital, aged care facility, at home in the community supported by their GP or district nursing service.

Through our ongoing partnership with ANZSPM we spoke with a number of their members on their experiences of caring for people at the end of life, what they’ve observed and what they think contributes to a good death.
