Gathering on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Aboriginal people of the Kulin Nation, in Melbourne, Victoria, the organising committee and ANZSPM Council welcomes you to the 8th ANZSPM Medical and Surgical Update. This is an important intensive meeting for medical clinicians, training doctors and advanced practice nurses who work in Palliative Care across Australia and New Zealand. Focusing on emerging, changing or challenging areas of practice, that impacts on specialist palliative care delivery remains our aim and we hope our Update meeting will reflect these ambitions. Ideally, we hope you can join us in person, with online hybrid available, and embrace the learning experience that we hope we can provide for you.
