Te Omanga Hospice provides an integrated home care and inpatient service to the communities of the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa. Its main focus is on supporting patients to remain at home, with a 24-hour cover provided by the hospice team.

The 10-bed inpatient facility in Lower Hutt provides back-up to the home care service for symptom control, respite and terminal care.

Te Omanga cares for almost 500 people each year.
