Nurse Maude Centenary Hospice consists of an 11-bed inpatient facility and a specialist community palliative care team. The service has coverage from Rakaia in the south to Kaikoura in the north of the South Island.
It is the only hospice in Christchurch and it covers a population of about 450,000.
