Since 2005 each of the 90 House of Travel outlets around the country have been working with their local hospice.
Each of their 1200 staff members get a paid days leave to volunteer for hospice as well as the many ways they work raising funds for their hospice.

In addition to an annual donation and support for Hospice NZ - here is a selection of our work together;2008 marked the conclusion of our first three years of partnership - and what a journey it has been. Some of the highlights from 2008 include;
Hospice Kaipara - Dargaville

Staff have run a marathon, run a movie fundraiser & cake stall raising over $2000 during the year.

Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty - Whakatane
Thanks to Travel Plan Holidays, they donated a five night holiday package that was used as part of an auction that raised more than $30,000!
Hospice Taranaki - New Plymouth
The team volunteer as part of our roster they have great enthusiasm and are great ambassadors for hospice.
Hospice South Auckland - South Auckland
They are very passionate about hospice, I can't speak highly enough about them. They raised $14,000 from one quiz night.
Otago Community Hospice - Dunedin
They spent their volunteer day spring cleaning the hospice - twice! And raised over $5000 from a golf tournament.
Rotorua Community Hospice - Rotorua
Over the past three years we have raised over $100,000, the relationship really has connected us - people know who we are because the HOT team are spreading the word.
Hospice Southland - Invercargill
The value of the House of Travel partnership cannot be measured in dollar value, although they did raise $20,000 in Southland's Largest Quiz Extravaganza. The Team at Laker House of Travel are always ready, willing and able to assist.
