Hospice Wanganui is a provincially situated, community-based centre of excellence with a four-bed inpatient facility, day care, out-patient clinic, administrative areas and chapel.

The purpose-built facility is an ideal base for this multi-disciplinary service which provides the usual wide-ranging services found in any modern professional hospice service. Equal importance is placed on physical, psycho-social and a spiritual aspect on treatment.
