Hospice Bay of Islands provides supportive care for the terminally ill and their families in the mid-north region.
It has experienced palliative nurses on call 24 hours. Trained volunteers support people at home or in the inpatient facility. A two-suite inpatient facility is available for respite care and symptom management, there is relief care in the home as required and an extensive range of equipment available for loan.
