Cranford Hospice is the Hawke’s Bay region’s specialist palliative care service, providing services from Takapau to Wairoa and Mahia.
Community and inpatient care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors and pharmacists, with family support provided by a counsellor, social worker, pastoral care person, music therapist and the kaitakawaenga role.
Cranford is committed to providing specialist advice, support and education for other health providers and we have strong links with GP practices, the hospital palliative care team, aged/residential care facilities and community pharmacies.
Remembrance services and bereavement support groups are held at Cranford Hospice throughout the year.
