Rotorua Community Hospice offers advice and support for patients, families, GPs, hospital staff and rest homes and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Specialist community palliative care includes:

  • Assessment and care co-ordination
  • Specialist symptom management
  • Day programmes (Tues/Wed/Thurs)
  • Bereavement counselling and support
  • Information and advice
  • Education for patients, families, GPs, hospital and rest home staff
  • Equipment
