Are you passionate about palliative care and have proven management experience? We are looking for a Nurse Manager to lead our nurses to deliver specialist palliative care in the Mid Northland community and our inpatient unit.
Excellent communication and relationships with our patients, the team and other health professionals and volunteers is essential. As we are a small team, you will need to be flexible to provide direct clinical care and support the team with their after hours commitments.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, dissemination and evaluation of the Liverpool Care of the Dying Pathway (LCP) framework within the Otago region. The LCP has been developed in the UK to transfer the hospice model of care of the dying into other care settings.

Arohanui Hospice is a specialist palliative care service based in Palmerston North, caring for people living with a terminal illness in the Manawatu, Horowhenua, Rangitikei and Tararua regions.
We are seeking a part-time Palliative Care Medical Officer to join our dedicated team. The Medical Officer will participate in all aspects of service, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with support from Palliative Care Specialists and Medical Officers.
